The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) is committed to meet the user’s satisfaction and promote Special Economic Zones and Free zones as the preferred choice of investment, work and tourism. We therefore realise our obligation to protect the privacy rights of all our users, who are using Discover Duqm mobile application.

Discover Duqm's Security and Privacy policy addresses OPAZ’s practices related to information collection and usage of your personal information.

Information Collection & Usage:

OPAZ does not collect any personal information about you, when you use Discover Duqm mobile application, unless otherwise specified or you choose to provide this information to us. However, upon your usage the following information are automatically identified:

- Navigate to tourist places: identify user’s current location to display the route from user’s current location to tourist places, to navigate and reach the place.

- Receive Geo-fence notifications once the user enters location of any tourist place.

We may use third party tools or software for conducting statistical analysis; however please note that only certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who downloaded the application. Such information does not identify you individually. OPAZ keeps all collected information confidential except where disclosure is enforced or required by law, or as part of requirement to protect the rights or properties of OPAZ.

Security of Transactions:

OPAZ has implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security. Please be assured that Discover Duqm mobile application has security measures in place to protect the information you provide us. We use encryption methods to protect all information, which is deemed to be sensitive, or any other data that should remain secure to meet OPAZ’s, federal or local legal requirements.

If you doubt that your privacy is being compromised during the access of Discover Duqm mobile application, do:
