Transferring the affiliation of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) to OPAZ

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued a Royal Decree transferring the affiliation of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) to the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ)

Under the Royal  Decree No. 53/2022 issued on 28 Dhul Qi’dah, 1443 corresponding to 28 June, 2022, Madayn will be under OPAZ instead of its affiliation with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP). The Authority will exercise the powers of drawing up the general policy for the industrial estates, regulation, supervision, and standardizing the services, facilities and incentives provided to investors. Whole Madayn will be the operator of these industrial estates.
